Welcome to "Safe Sleep Essentials: Foundations for Restful Nights": a streamlined, self-paced course designed to give parents and caregivers the core knowledge for safe, nurturing infant sleep. In this 90 minute program, you’ll quickly learn safe sleep practices, how to set up your sleep space, and what to do if bedsharing becomes necessary while always prioritizing your baby’s safety and your family’s comfort. You’ll get an overview on optimizing your sleep environment, dressing your baby for sleep, safe sleep practices, "safe" bedsharing, an introduction to the 4 types of sleepers, and when to seek help. There is also an optional video example of a nursery. My gentle, baby-led approach supports secure attachment and positive parent-child relationships, so you can feel confident and reassured every step of the way. By the end, you’ll have the essential tools to support your baby’s sleep journey and make informed choices that work for your family. This foundational course is accessible to all parents/caregivers and offers a preview of the supportive learning you’ll find in our other programs. Please note that this is a general overview of these concepts. This course is recommended to be completed prior to any one-on-one consultations with Brooke to ensure clients have the education side covered so we can focus on the specifics of your child and really individualize our work together.
